The Youth Board of the Manchester Museum is currently working on a photographic exhibition as part of the Our City: connections and collections project.  The aim of the project is to show young people’s perspectives of Manchester and also to possibly change other people’s views of the city.  Members of the Board spent a month going round the city taking photographs of both iconic parts of Manchester and their own personal views on the city.

Our City: collections and connections

The Manchester Museum is creating a new gallery that will explore the history of the museum collection and its connections to local communities.  We have started making connections with objects in the Museum but would like to hear your stories.

We want visitors to share their memories of visiting the Museum.  Do you have any memories of visits to the Museum or what does the Museum means to you?
